Your key, your account Root-reviewed targets
TERMS OF SERVICE · UPDATED OCTOBER 3, 2026
Using FactionForge
Checking “I agree to the Terms of Service” on sign-in confirms these terms for the private pilot.
How FactionForge uses your key
- Collection
- Your key identifies you, confirms current faction membership, and collects faction roster and war data in the background.
- Battle stats
- When your key permits it, your own battle stats are collected at sign-in and periodically for your Chain Target profile. A dedicated Public key runs the core workspace; contributing stats requires a Limited custom key with user battlestats enabled. Organized-crime sync additionally needs faction API permission. Never enter your Torn password.
- Chain Targets
- Approved targets’ public profile details may be refreshed in the background using your key. Your name, faction, activity, status and any contributed battle stats also update a Chain Target profile that starts hidden. A platform root can review and approve that profile, including saved stats and a labeled matchup estimate, for other signed-in players to see. Later sign-ins and refreshes do not approve it.
- Sharing
- As a new player, your contributed stats are visible to current faction members by default. You can select “Hide from Faction” on Battle stats to hide them from other members. You, current faction leadership, and authorized faction admins retain access, including for previously hidden snapshots. That faction-sharing setting is separate from root approval of a Chain Target. Verified platform roots can view stored stats across factions, and their views are audited. Private payout adjustments remain individually restricted.
- My TornHub
- You can refresh your own faction money and points with a permitted Limited key. Withdrawal, supply and reward requests are visible to you and current authorized faction leadership. TornHub cannot transfer money, give items or send in-game messages through the Torn API. A banker performs the action in Torn and records a reference; status here is banker-confirmed. Faction recognition points are separate from Torn points, vault money and billing credits.
- Optional personal collection
- Reminders and daily training history start disabled. Enabling reminders authorizes background checks of only your selected bars, cooldowns, flights, education or OC readiness using your own permitted key. Enabling training history authorizes daily battle-stat snapshots for your personal goal. Only you can see these personal observations in the member dashboard. You can stop collection or erase daily history there. These choices are separate from Battle stats sharing and Chain Target collection.
- Target contributions
- Players granted contributor access may submit targets manually or by file. Submissions await root review. Approval applies the reviewed information to the shared target database; rejection leaves it unchanged. Submission history records the contributor’s Torn ID, submitted data, review evidence, decision, and reviewing root’s Torn ID. Contributors can see their own submissions, but this permission does not reveal hidden profiles, API-collected stats, or root review comparisons.
- Storage
- Raw roster and activity history is kept for 90 days; detailed war history for 180 days. Completed-war summaries and finalized payouts remain while the faction account exists. Your key is encrypted server-side. Disconnecting stops future key use and signs out your sessions, but retains your latest contributed stats and Chain Target profile under your Torn player ID until replaced or deleted under the data policy. Encrypted backup copies expire within 30 days.
Read the private-pilot data policy for retention, privacy choices and deletion requests.
